Projects & fundraising

Your generosity becomes land, walls, and front doors.

Every dollar given to Reimagine goes into something you can stand in front of: land, lumber, and six front doors that change six households' lives — then dozens more after that.

Land is expensive. Building is expensive. We're determined to find a way — and the campaign is live now.

The First Build: a courtyard micro community

Our flagship design is a six-unit courtyard home from the CMHC Housing Design Catalogue — four units at the front, two at the rear, arranged around a shared courtyard that makes neighbours out of residents. Because most available lots have a 30-foot frontage, we've also selected two CMHC fourplex designs, so the first build can move ahead on the land we can realistically secure.

Why this design stretches your donation further

Because the Courtyard Sixplex comes from the federal Housing Design Catalogue, the architectural heavy lifting is already done — a complete technical package designed to speed up municipal approvals and reduce soft costs. Less money on paperwork. More money on homes.

Combined with federal financing programs under Canada's Housing Plan, every donated dollar is leveraged, not just spent. Read more on our Housing Strategy page.

Phase 3 · In planning

Senior Cohousing

Senior cohousing designed to promote intergenerational community — because aging should mean staying connected, not disappearing from view.

Share the story

Sharing our campaign with your network is one of the most valuable things you can do — it finds the donors, partners, and future residents we haven't met yet.

🛠️

Contribute expertise

Trades, architecture, law, accounting, fundraising, ASL interpretation — professional skills donated are dollars we don't have to raise.

Partner or invest

Funders, foundations, and impact investors: we're actively exploring partnership, investment, and grant opportunities. Let's talk.

The first homes are waiting to exist.

Somewhere in British Columbia there's a piece of land that will become front doors, shared spaces, and a community. Your gift is what gets us there.
